In truth, what can be better than summer walks? Bathing in cool air, recovering from the blistering heat of the day. These evenings are one of my favourite things about summer, one of the things I will miss the most. Dressing in a long sleeved top was madness, but as it is a vintage sailing one, it felt fitting for the occasion. At once I was a sailor girl, hopping along the lake shore and throwing pebbles, laughing with my sister without a care in the world. The twin islands - Isola Bella and Isola Madre - in the misty sunset were a sight I'd love to behold time and time again.

sometimes i think that wearing long-sleeved tops helps, as long as they're pale colours anyway! they help to keep the sun off, i find. you look so, so lovely (: xxx

ReplyDeleteI love when the summer nights start cooling off enough to go out with a light sweater or long sleeves. But it's still just warm enough for sandals and bare legs. Best part of summer right there.
