Duffle and Stag

A couple of weeks ago, it seemed so certain we would get a white Christmas, with temperatures plummeting way below freezing and a light powdering of snow already settled firmly on the ground for several days. Well, that only lasted until thirteen degrees came back and so did the downpours; it seems that autumn has triumphed over winter again - for a while... As you know, December for me is always a month of consecutive celebrations; my birthday happens to fall just after Christmas, and it turned out a bit deer-themed because I made these Arctic deer Christmas cards for everyone, then received this jumper from Joules as a present. The insane duffle coat has also been a relatively recent acquisition (now I have two!), found by Mama and turned out to be a vintage Gloverall.

With Autumn No. 2 and Year No. 2013 (or thereabouts; it's just our estimate, isn't it?) come the gusts of change. Let them blow you about, why not? Remember - a year only becomes old when a new one enters...  So please have a radical New Year, yeah? All of you!
